Sad to say, this is the last blog for the competition, but I will let you know how my family is doing even after the competition.
So, we are down to the last week. I asked my oldest daughter the other day, “did you think I would hang in there?” She replied “yes, but I thought you would struggle more than you did.” Truth be told, I thought I would try to hang in there. I did not think I had the endurance, determination, discipline and dedication. I SURPRISED MYSELF! I AM SO PROUD OF MYSELF!!!
Although I am saddened this competition is coming to an end, I am so grateful and appreciative of the opportunity. I have learned to be a better me. I learned to eat properly and I learned to exercise properly.
Because of this opportunity I take better care of myself and I no longer live through my family. I move more (and better); I eat less a (and better); I’m more discipline and I like how I’m looking. No, I didn’t lose a lot of pounds, but I’m more toned and I lost inches.
I’m going to miss the three day a week fellowships, but I’m looking forward to my new beginning, my new lifestyle!
Because of The Arena Club and the dedicated trainers, I am on my way to a great start.
